Explain your service prices clearly.
This guide covers the current development app. It has not been submitted to the Wix App Market and is not available for public installation yet. Prices and paid lifecycle verification are still in preparation.
Configure your first service
- Select the Service Quotes widget in your editor and open Settings.
- Use the Free configuration first. Enter an estimate heading, currency, base charge and minimum charge.
- Set the service label, unit label, unit rate and quantity limits. Use a dot for decimal prices, without thousands separators. Prices must use the selected currency; the app does not convert them.
- Select Test draft estimate. Try a small quantity, a typical job and your maximum quantity. Draft preview uses your unsaved rates.
- Select Back to rates, then Save free settings. Saving stores settings in this Wix widget. Publish the site to update its visitor calculator.
Use synthetic examples while testing. For example: a GBP35 base charge plus 8 square metres at GBP1.25 gives GBP45. A GBP50 minimum adds GBP5, producing GBP50 before any displayed tax. Forty square metres gives GBP85. These are illustrative rates, not an AgenticEcom service offer.
How estimates are calculated
Quantity lines round half up to the currency's minor unit. The app adds the base charge and service lines, applies one selected discount, adds any minimum-charge adjustment, then applies optional displayed tax to the net amount. A discount cannot bypass the minimum before tax. GBP, USD and EUR are supported.
Visitors select Calculate estimate. Missing or invalid values block the calculation and focus the field needing attention. Changing an input hides the old result. Reset clears choices and restores field focus. Browser print is supported; a custom PDF download is not included.
Free and Pro
Both plans include saved configuration, an editor scenario preview and unlimited visitor estimates. Free supports one quantity service. Pro adds up to 10 quantity or optional fixed-price items and up to 5 named discounts. The current draft uses Wix native billing; the paid lifecycle must pass platform tests before public sale. No separate licence key or payment account is required by the app.
Save a useful Free configuration before Pro settings. It is used if a Pro configuration cannot verify paid entitlement when loading. Pro settings remain in Wix widget properties for recovery. An already-open page is not promised to update immediately after cancellation.
Fix a setup problem
- Not configured: open Settings, save your Free rates and publish the site.
- Settings or plan cannot load: close and reopen Settings, check editor access and Wix availability. A failed load does not overwrite existing settings. Do not buy repeatedly to fix a network error.
- Save rejected: check decimal formatting, nonnegative prices, quantity limits and plain-text labels. Pro also requires verified entitlement and a saved Free configuration.
- Unexpected total: check units, selected extras, discount, minimum and displayed tax. The minimum adjustment happens after discount.
- Options unavailable: Pro verification may be unavailable. The widget uses the saved Free configuration; reload later or contact the business for a detailed quote.
- Layout clipped: check widget width and surrounding sections in both desktop and mobile editor layouts, then inspect the published page.
Know the limits
Results are indicative estimates. The business confirms the final price before work starts. This app does not accept quotes, collect leads, send emails, book appointments, take payments, provide tax advice or run custom formulas. Visitor choices are not retained after reload or close.
Remove the calculator
Remove its widget and publish to remove the current public calculator. Native Wix site history and backup retention may retain previous settings. Do not assume removing a widget or uninstalling cancels a subscription; verify subscription status in Wix.
