CMS Block Import / Export is a Magento 2 module that manages your CMS blocks in a spreadsheet: export every block to CSV, edit content, SEO and store scope in bulk, then re-import to update existing blocks or create new ones, round-tripping HTML safely and stripping script vectors on the way in.

Manage your entire Magento 2 CMS in a spreadsheet. Export every CMS block to CSV, edit content, SEO and store-scope in bulk, then re-import to update or create - with HTML that round-trips safely and a security layer that strips script vectors on the way in.

Bulk CMS, without the click-fatigue

Editing CMS blocks one at a time in the admin is slow and error-prone. CMS Block Import / Export turns it into a spreadsheet job: export everything, make sweeping changes in Excel or Google Sheets, and push it all back in a single import.

What you can do

  • Export every CMS block to clean CSV - content, title, identifier, store view, status and meta
  • Bulk edit content, SEO and store-scope, then re-import to update existing records or create new ones
  • Per-store-view scoping - manage multi-store content without clobbering the wrong scope
  • Safe HTML round-trip - your markup survives the trip intact
  • Hardened import - script / onclick / javascript: vectors are stripped, so a bad CSV can't inject anything

Frequently asked questions

How do I bulk-edit CMS content?

Export to CSV, edit the content / SEO columns in a spreadsheet, and re-import with Add/Update. Keeping each row's identifier means it updates that block rather than creating a duplicate.

Can I move content between store views?

Yes — set the stores cell (codes separated by |, or all), or use the import option to force every row into a chosen store view regardless of the column.

Is importing HTML safe?

Yes — the importer strips script tags, inline event handlers and javascript: URLs from the content before saving, so a CSV import can't introduce stored XSS, while keeping legitimate layout markup intact.

Is it secure?

Import and export are behind the module's ACL resources, the import is XSS-sanitised, and both tools are verified clean on PHP 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5 (including the CSV escape-parameter handling that the new PHP versions require).
