A practical blog beside your Magento catalog
BlogPro 1.0.5 gives Magento Open Source a full blog that editors manage in the Magento Admin. Create posts, categories, tags and author profiles; schedule publication, moderate comments and publish RSS. The included Luma pages show the listing and articles. GraphQL and REST endpoints let an Astro or other headless storefront render the content separately.

- Editorial control: edit content, publication state, URL keys, search metadata and social metadata across store views.
- Topical planning: create a map of related article ideas and internal links to help editors cover a subject coherently. Search ranking outcomes are not guaranteed.
- Optional AI Writer: choose supported OpenAI or Google Gemini text and image models independently, with separate encrypted API keys and configurable fallbacks. AI is disabled until configured.
- Import and export: move existing posts into the Magento blog workflow.

Blog Pro settings are grouped under Stores → Configuration → AgenticEcom · SEO and Content → Blog Pro. The blog and AI implementation is unchanged from 1.0.4; the runtime checks below retain their recorded versions.

Editing an existing Admin tag now loads its saved name and URL key and updates that same tag on Save, without making a duplicate.

The built-in article, featured-image and topical-map prompts now favour useful, factual drafts without forced word counts, tables or FAQs. An upgrade refreshes the old built-in article and image prompts only when they were never customised; merchant-edited prompts remain unchanged. New installations use GPT-6.1 Sol for text and GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst for images, with Google Gemini alternatives available.
AI costs: OpenAI and Google AI bill usage separately under the merchant's own account and selected model. AI usage is not included in the BlogPro licence. Editors should verify factual claims, product details and imagery before publishing.
Luma and headless delivery
Use the included Luma listing and article routes on a standard Magento storefront. For Astro or PWA builds, query the blog data over GraphQL and render it in your frontend; the module does not automatically inject blog pages into a separate site.
Compatibility and installation
The exact 1.0.4 release upgraded and DI compiled; a populated Admin tag retained its name and URL key after Save on the original record, with no duplicate. All 177 AgenticEcom Admin pages loaded without page or browser errors, and both OpenAI and Gemini returned usable text and image output in live provider tests. The 1.0.3 release passed separate Luma listing/article checks on Magento Open Source 2.4.9 with PHP 8.5.10. Test other Magento and PHP combinations separately. BlogPro has no required third-party Magento module. Install one copy through the licensed Composer repository or app/code, run Magento setup:upgrade and DI compilation, then check the BlogPro user guide.

Can I publish without AI?
Yes. AI Writer is optional and disabled by default; the blog, Luma pages and APIs work without provider keys.
Can I link an article to products?
Yes. Editors can associate relevant products, catalog categories and related posts with an article.
Does an Astro storefront get the blog automatically?
No. The module supplies GraphQL and REST data; your headless frontend implements the pages and presentation.
What happens to custom AI prompts on upgrade?
Version 1.0.3 keeps merchant-edited prompts. Only untouched 1.0.2 built-in article and image prompts are refreshed.
