BlogPro for Magento 2 — Headless Blog Engine with AI & Topical Maps
BlogPro is a complete blog engine for Magento 2 — posts, categories, tags, multiple authors, moderated comments and RSS — built for commerce. Link posts to products and catalog categories, plan topical-authority maps, draft with the AI writer, and deliver on Luma or fully headless over GraphQ…
A blog that sells — content marketing built into Magento 2
Magento ships without a blog, and most bolt-ons are thin, slow, or stop dead the moment you go headless. BlogPro is a proper content engine: posts, categories, tags, multiple authors, moderated comments and an RSS feed — and, crucially, it's wired to your catalogue. Link an article to the products and categories it talks about, plan topical-authority maps to own a subject in search, draft with the built-in AI writer, and publish on Luma or fully headless over GraphQL.
What you'll use it for
- Run content marketing inside Magento — a full blog with authors, categories and comments, not a fragile add-on.
- Turn articles into sales — drop the exact products and categories an article mentions straight into the post.
- Build topical authority — map out a cluster of related posts around a category so search engines see you as the expert.
- Publish faster — generate a first draft with the AI writer, then shape it to your voice.
- Go headless — power an Astro or PWA blog from the same content over GraphQL, with the Luma frontend as a fallback.
How it fits together
A blog that drives commerce
What sets BlogPro apart is the link back to the catalogue. Each post can carry related products, related catalog categories and related posts, so a guide ends with the exact items it discusses and a reader moves from article to add-to-cart. Group posts into a topical map — a planned cluster of articles around one subject — to build the kind of topical authority search engines reward, and to make sure your content actually covers a category rather than scattering one-off posts. Everything is multi-store, comments are moderated before they appear, and content is passed through an HTML sanitiser.
Headless & manageable
BlogPro exposes the whole blog over GraphQL — posts, categories, tags, authors, comments (with an add-comment mutation), related products and categories, widget posts, route resolution and view tracking — so an Astro or PWA storefront can render the blog natively. In the admin you get full CRUD for posts, categories, tags, authors and comments, plus import/export of posts and granular permissions (a writer can be allowed to draft but not moderate or configure).

Frequently asked questions
Does Magento 2 have a blog, and what does BlogPro add?
Magento has no native blog. BlogPro adds a full one — posts, categories, tags, authors, moderated comments and RSS — and links it to your catalogue so articles can drive sales.
Can I link blog posts to products?
Yes. Each post can carry related products, related catalog categories and related posts, so a guide ends with the exact items it talks about and readers move from content to checkout.
Does it work with a headless Magento storefront?
Yes. The entire blog is available over GraphQL — posts, categories, tags, authors, comments, related products and more — so an Astro or PWA front end can render it natively, with the Luma frontend as a fallback.
What are topical maps?
A topical map is a planned cluster of posts around one subject. Grouping articles this way builds topical authority — it signals to search engines that you cover a topic thoroughly rather than posting in isolation.
Can it write posts with AI?
Yes. The built-in AI writer drafts posts using Google Gemini through AgenticEcom AI Content (your own API key), and you edit and publish from there.
Can I moderate comments and control who can do what?
Yes. Comments are moderated before they appear, and permissions are granular — for example a writer can draft posts without being able to moderate comments or change configuration.
Which Magento and PHP versions are supported?
Magento Open Source 2.4.9 and later 2.4.x, verified on PHP 8.4 and 8.5, with no third-party dependencies.
