Create reviewable social campaign drafts from Magento product facts
Draft from one product, then review for each channel
Omnichannel helps a Magento merchant prepare campaign drafts from one selected product and a campaign goal. Its useful output is editable platform-specific copy and an image choice. A generated campaign, a scheduler entry and a publicly visible post are separate states; keep evidence for each step.
AI provider and scheduler costs are separate. OpenAI or Google Gemini can charge for text or image generation with your own keys. Optional Buffer or Zernio publishing depends on your own account, connected channels, permissions and plan. The module price does not include API credits or establish a network's permission to publish.
Check your current campaign process first
A spreadsheet, approved product photographs and your existing scheduler can be sufficient. Keep that route if it already gives you reliable review and receipts. An in-Admin authoring workflow is useful when retrieving product facts and maintaining separate channel drafts is the repeated bottleneck. It does not replace learning which buyer problems are worth discussing.
The current public release is 1.0.3 and the offer lists Magento Open Source 2.4.9 and Luma compatibility. The guide describes selecting exactly one product, a goal, tone, UK or US English and one or more of five supported platforms. The wizard uses the selected product's name, SKU and short description. Check those inputs before generation; they are not an independent specification audit.
Make the channel drafts useful in different ways
Illustrative copy exercise, not generated or published campaign evidence: suppose an approved source says a fictional inspection lamp has a magnetic base and a two-hour operating time at its specified setting. A LinkedIn draft might explain how a maintenance team can position the light while keeping both hands available, then state the runtime condition. A short-form draft might focus on that one placement feature with a clear product link. Neither may add an explosion-proof rating, discount or “all-shift” runtime absent from the source.
Review each draft for audience, unsupported claims, length, dates and destination. A product photo can show the actual object more faithfully than a generated illustration. Reusing the catalogue image needs no image-generation key. If generating an image, check shape, labels, accessories, rights and brand details; reject an attractive image that depicts a feature the buyer will not receive.
Keep a receipt for every delivery state
| State | What it establishes | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| Draft reviewed | An editor approved the content. | Correct account, destination and timing. |
| Queued in Magento | A job is waiting to run. | Working cron and its result. |
| Accepted by scheduler | The provider accepted a request. | Provider post ID and final status. |
| Published | A real post is visible on the intended account. | Public URL, image, text and outbound link. |
Connect the channels in the scheduler's own dashboard before configuring account IDs in Magento. Test a single approved item through the exact route before expanding. The guide records mocked Buffer and Zernio responses for 1.0.2; it does not establish successful live publishing through every account or channel in 1.0.3. Partial provider failures need inspection, not blind retries that might duplicate a successful item.
Evaluate the whole job
Compare preparation plus review time, provider costs and actual qualified outcomes with the current process. More drafts or posts are activity counts, not evidence of incremental sales. Keep publication ownership and the business's existing campaign schedule clear before allowing any integration to send.
Use the Omnichannel product details and setup guide to check your intended route. The available walkthrough is recorded on 1.0.2. For a wider evaluation worksheet, see practical AI workflows and their costs. No drafting or scheduling workflow guarantees reach or sales.
